Story share/ PSA. At the start of the pandemic, I decided to really prioritize my mental health and get in a meditation at the beach each morning.

Without fail, 50% of the time, someone would light up a cigarette or pot & dig their tush into the sand right next to me. Miles & miles of empty beach & they have to sit Right. By. Me 😑. 80% of the time, I’d hear a LOUD, over-modulated speaker phone conversation. Honestly…this is my least favorite smart phone feature ever made. No one needs or wants to hear your conversation involuntarily. Certainly there are times when your hands are busy and you simply can’t hold the phone up to your ear…or its a group conversation sitch…but just remember: You honestly give bystanders ZERO choice but to have to listen when you hit that speaker button. Much like 2nd hand smoking!

All this to say, let’s all work on MINDFULNESS. How can we be more mindful of ourselves & others?

Listen. I have wild raccoon kids. I also have the craziest, most boisterous cackle of a laugh. I’m sure I have offended another person’s moment of peace. Regardless, I want to keep trying! Each & everyday, my goal is to become more self aware/self actualized. More mindful.

At least till the next giggle fit. 🤣.

& since it’s story time…lmk some funny, zero-mindfulness incidents that have happened to YOU!

*tks to my zen yogi friend @mothersintolivingfit for allowing me to demonstrate one of my pet peeves.🤣 #psa
